Where It All Started...
I started BeantownSports on May 15, 2024, in the middle of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
It began as a personal outlet during games - posting memes, final scores, and real-time reactions the way Boston fans actually talk about sports. No scripts, no polish, just honest takes and timing that matched the moment.
As more people connected with the style and perspective, Beantown Sports grew quickly. What started as a fun page turned into a daily habit for fans across platforms, now reaching over 40,000 followers. The growth made one thing clear: people wanted Boston sports coverage that felt direct, uncluttered, and fan-first.
That’s what led to the launch of the Beantown Sports newsletter.
The idea was simple. Weekly sports recaps were either overloaded with
noise or missing the point entirely. So I created a recap that cuts
through the fluff, no pointless info, just what actually mattered that
week and why Boston fans should care.
